I recently read an article in the Agape Magazine about the robbery and abduction of Damien Chua, son of former Health Minister Datuk Dr Chua Jui Ming.
Its a very inperational article for me because, it tells us that God is always with us. Psalm 91:1 to 4 tell us about God protecting us. Psalm 91 is also a prayer when you feel that your in danger or afraid.
In Damien Chua's ordeal( in the car ), he was praying in tongues and the robber didn't even realize what he was doing. As they came to a stop, on the busy road a stranger suddenly open the car door and shouted get out now. The robbers were shock thinking that he was an undercover cop droveof zigzaging across the busy road.
The car then skidded and ramped into the guardrail. The driver ran away with a motorcylist believe to be third accomplish but the robber at the back seat, the second robber was trying to get out but was cought by police. The other robber was cought by bystanders who have seen what happen. ( taken from agape magazine )
There was no reported police that open the door of the car. The robbers said that they saw the man dress all in white. It the Angel Of God that was sent down to save Damien.
This theres a similar passage in the Bible ( Daniel 3 ) when King Nebuchadnezzar ordered his man to make an image of gold that is 90 feet tall and 9 feet wide.
He ordered his nation to fall on their knees as ( bow down and worship the golden image ) soon as the trumpet were sound and whoever does not obey will be trown in to the fiery furnace.
exept Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So they were brought before the King. The King ask why he did not worship the image of gold? They awnsered: we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
Then the King summoned his men to to heat up the furnace 7 times hotter. Then he ask his men to trow the three into the furnace. The furnace was so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.
But then they saw another figure that is in the furnace. The King shouted! Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the most High come out, so they come out of the blazing furnace unharm. The robes were not burnt even there was no smell of fire on them
The king said: "Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king's command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
